"My Teaching" and "My Courses" Tab
In order to make your web site available to students, the following requirements must be satisfied:
- The class web site is located on one of the CSTL servers.
- It has Online Instructor Suite (OIS) installed (i.e. you can access it through OIS Manager).
- OIS Manager is configured with the correct class information (year, semester, class code and sections) and set to synchronize automatically with the administrative system.
- The class web site contains a splash page named "index.htm" or "index.asp" that is located in the root of the class folder.
If your class web site meets the requirements above, your class web site will be displayed to students in the portal. However, in order to allow them to log on to your class web site, you must also uncheck the box that says "do not accept student logins..." in the class properties dialog box. This box is also available from the OIS Tools window in the portal.
