Wikipedia as a Reference

Many students report to me that they have been told not to use Wikipedia because "anybody can write stuff in it." It does seem pretty disreputable, I'll admit. Anybody CAN write stuff in it.

So how good is Wikipedia? Here are two articles discussing that question.
