Here is the practice assignment:

  1. Make a new page named Cal.htm
     
  2. Title the page, "Whimsical Calendar page."
     
  3. Add text to Cal.htm. Make sure that the text shows at least two font styles and two colors.
     
  4. Include an example of text in subscript mode, e.g., the "2" in H2O.
  5. Set off a portion of the text by including horizontal lines above an below the text.
  6. Select and insert a clipart image from Microsoft's online clipart collection. Make sure your clipart is left justified and 50 pixels wide. Include alt text and a screen tip for the clipart image.
     
  7. Hyperlink the clipart image to a functioning OIS Calendar for your course (hint: use the link, /ois-bin/calendarsrv/calendarsrv.dll.)
     
  8. Place a link to Cal.htm on your class' coursedescription.htm page.

When you are ready to add real content to your OIS class, just delete the link to Cal.htm from your class' coursedescription.htm page. Good luck!
