Working with Styles in SharePoint Designer 2007
Definition
Styles are formatting that apply to specific text throughout your webpage. You can make changes to most every aspect of your text using styles.
Why would I want to use styles? Why not just format all of my text by hand?
With styles I can change text in multiple places within my document by just changing the style one time.
For example, I can change the word style or styles above in each instance above with just one change of the style.
Styles have been around for a long time, but in the past they have been harder to use. SharePoint Designer 2007 has made styles easier than ever to use.
