Description:
Maximize your OIS-supported teaching experience. Make sure your class
rosters are loaded and your existing classes are ready for Spring. This
workshop is geared toward faculty teaching in the spring session online or
with an OIS-supported class web site but is applicable to all interested
faculty.
- Helpful Hints
- Check your class schedule on
portal.semo.edu .
- Decide on your own
organizational style for your web and each of your classes/courses.
- Name semesters and classes.
- This spring is 200920
according to Banner
- Include section numbers if you
teach more than one section
- Add yourself as a student in
each of your classes.
- Don't forget to put a copy of
your syllabus in each class folder.

- Create a new folder in
SharePoint Designer (FrontPage) for each class (i.e. 091MA23001).
- Open OIS Manager and add classes
to folders already created in SharePoint Designer.
- Add pages to class folders in
SharePoint Designer.
