CSTL Teaching Associates
The Teaching Associates Committee works with the Director of
the CSTL and the Center's Faculty Associate to formulate and
implement strategies for enhancing teaching and learning on
campus. Several years ago it developed the conceptual framework
for the Teacher-Scholar Model on campus, and as an offshoot of
that authored the original grant that secured the SoTL Fellows
Program. To this day the committee remains committed
to the success of the SoTL Fellows Program and works diligently
to oversee and enhance its growth, quality, and increasingly
high profile. This commitment is evident at the personal
level, as each of the members works with Fellows at their
Thursday night meetings (and in-between), and in the aggregate,
as the committee seeks to ensure the continued vitality and
quality of the program and its place in the institutional ethos
of Southeast Missouri State University.
