Philosophy of the

Student Research Conference:

The Southeast Missouri State University Student Research Conference was founded in 1993 to promote and recognize those students who have devoted their time and interests to the pursuit of academic research. It is the intention of this conference to provide a forum and recognition to those who are already conducting research, to inspire other students to do the same, and to encourage a fully interdisciplinary involvement of Southeast Missouri State University students.
